The Infosec Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) is a project to offer government agencies and ICT service providers (including cloud service providers spanning SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) high-quality and impartial information and communications technology (ICT) security evaluation.
Redacted personnel are certified to perform full IRAP assessments to provide assurance up to, and including, Top Secret level.
The Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), which describes a cyber security framework that organisations can use to safeguard their Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems against online threats, serves as the basis for assessment.
